Your Data Stays on Your Device

Privacy Policy

At QuickSell, your privacy isn't just a feature — it's our foundation. Here's exactly how we handle your data.

🤝

1. Our Core Promise

QuickSell Keyboard is built with a privacy-first approach. We do NOT collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers.

💡 Everything you do in the app stays on your device — period.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Let's be upfront about what we never do:

  • We do NOT log your keystrokes, passwords, or anything you type.
  • We do NOT read, store, or access your messages or conversations.
  • We do NOT track your location or browsing activity.
  • We do NOT collect any personal identifiers such as your name, email, or phone number.
  • We do NOT use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
📱

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide you with a seamless experience, the app stores certain data locally on your device only:

  • Product catalog details (names, descriptions, prices, and images you add).
  • Quick reply templates you create.
  • Invoice settings (business name, logo, banking details, GST info) that you configure.
  • Generated invoices stored temporarily for sharing.
  • App preferences and settings (keyboard height, theme, haptic feedback, etc.).

🔐 This data is saved using Android's secure internal storage, SharedPreferences, and Room Database. It is never uploaded to any server, and we have no way to access it remotely.

4. Keyboard Input & Permissions

As an Input Method Editor (IME), QuickSell Keyboard requires certain system permissions to function:

  • Input Method Permission: Required by Android for any custom keyboard. This allows the app to receive text input and display the keyboard interface. We use this solely to process your typing and provide keyboard functionality — we do not log, record, or transmit any keystrokes.
  • Storage/Media Access: Only used when you explicitly choose to upload product images, a company logo, or a digital signature through the system photo picker. We access only the specific files you select.
  • Internet Permission: Used exclusively for Google Play Billing (subscription management) and checking for app updates. No user data is transmitted over the network.

5. How We Use Your Data

All locally stored data is used exclusively to:

  • Display your product catalog within the keyboard for quick sharing.
  • Generate professional PDF and image invoices on-device.
  • Provide quick reply functionality for faster messaging.
  • Remember your app preferences and settings.

6. Third-Party Services

  • Google Play Billing: If you purchase a premium subscription, payment is processed entirely by Google Play. We never see, store, or handle your payment card details. Google's privacy policy governs that transaction.
  • No other third-party services, analytics tools, or advertising SDKs are integrated into this app.

7. Data Sharing

We do NOT share, sell, rent, or trade your data with anyone — for any reason. Since your data never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to share.

🗑️

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data lives on your device and remains there until you choose to remove it. You can delete all app data at any time by:

  • Clearing the app's data from Android Settings > Apps > QuickSell Keyboard > Clear Data.
  • Uninstalling the application entirely.

⚠️ Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered as we do not maintain any backups or copies.

👶

9. Children's Privacy

QuickSell Keyboard is a general-purpose business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, please contact us.

🔒

10. Security

We follow industry best practices to keep your local data safe:

  • All data is stored within Android's sandboxed app storage, which is inaccessible to other apps.
  • Sensitive preferences are stored using Android's secure SharedPreferences.
  • We regularly update our dependencies to patch known vulnerabilities.

However, the physical security of your device is your responsibility. We recommend using a secure lock screen.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
